Feeling like a dumbass
A little searching and there axles have been used many times.
Still need info on stub axles tho
Little help?

The Stock econ axle and spindles really were used with the stock drum brakes, they work good on a lite "T",,,in later years there was some custom aftermarket spindles made to go on too that axle/with ford econ kingpins and chey backing plate pat/ with earyFord spindle hub axle=so brake disk brakes could be added. Wintech would know were you can get those.

btdt stock hubs are getting hard to find, chevy disks are supposed to fit. a bit wide.

Just some info if anyone else has or is considering using an econoline axle. You can use the snout side of a two piece AMC Gremlin spindle if you cut the snout off your econoline spindles. The Gremlin snout will bolt on where the drum assembly normally does. Unfortunately I cant remember what rotors we used but I remember using a timing cover seal for a SBC for the rear seal. I do remember using GM metric calipers with a fabricated bracket. I hope this helps somebody.

Most, if not all AMC spindles were like that.
Later ones with disc brakes were the same so no reason to use anything but a factory AMC rotor, bearings and seals...along with a fabricated caliper bracket for the caliper of choice.
they use a 4 1/2 bolt pattern wheel like a Ford if I remember correctly.
I have a setup here that may eventually get used. Couldn't pass them up for free!

Do they actually bolt onto the cut off Econoline spindle or do you need to drill new holes once the Econo snout is cut down?
I figured for sure you would need to drill new holes.
Amazing how they bolt on and hold up a heavy full size car!
Shouldn't be a problem at all to hold a little T.

Its been a longbtime so im not positive but I believe that you just have to slot two of the holes. meangrean just used an econoline axle on his track t he may have the answer for which you seek. I haven't heard of any issues on a light chassis such as a t. heck people use mustang 2 parts on big old f100s with no issues too.
