Hey, I saw that on the post office wall!
Aw, damn, back into the witness protection program for me.Hey, I saw that on the post office wall!
I too struggle with flexibility. A spinal fusion adds to the issue. I too refuse to cave. I have always been strong and agile but I sure feel it getting on and off of my Valkyrie... especially if the drivers seat backrest is on. Hey, were still doing it, darn it!Spanky, Nesh, keep climbing in! I'm 77 and fat and I have worked out a sequence such that I can enter with a bit of grace. And if I move fast no one sees the tricks.
I'm a bit younger than you folks but I hope I'm able to climb in without a step too. 2 spinal fusions have ruined my balance not to mention my flexibility. I just hope I get it done soon enough that I can still climb into it! LolHeight has something to do with it. Age has a little more to do with it! The older you get, the less agile you are. Some years ago, my father in law was visiting. My wife suggested I take him for a ride in my bucket. He was maybe 70ish years old. I had to get the step stool out so he could get his leg up and over to get in. No doors!
Today, I'm that age and I'm having the same problem getting in. I removed the top at allow easier access. That was just one more hurdle to overcome. I refuse to use the step stool!! At least for now.
That looks pretty close to the color of my engine!View attachment 22758
Mandarin Pearl Orange, or close. Bucket is at the painters.
Like the flames! Just wondering if anyone has heard of using something like a plastic wrap in the design of the flames. It's like a stick on in the shape of the flames. Would be for people like me who've tried and not succeeded at doing flames. Can't get things symmetrical.
I've heard to people clear coating vinyl wraps so the edges don't peel. Not sure of the durability though.Vinyl "wraps" have become a real thing. All kinds of choices, and they seem pretty durable.
Okay, point taken. My sister in law is fair at it but.... Mine however always seem as if Charlie Brown had done them...not so great.I've never seen symmetrical fire, it's always dancing and trying to burn me.
