perfect fit windshield posts

Need a little guidance here. I need to build up the area where my ws posts mount. What grit sandpaper should I use to prepare the area for bodyfiller? Should I use the bodyfiller with fiberglass strands mixed in, or will regular bondo work?

I just went though all of this. If you need to build it up substantially, I would use stranded fiberglass not filler, rough up the body with 80 grit so it will hang on.
