Ok so tomorrow I will be posting how I installed a ribbed moon 8.5"
Diff cover on my 7.5" GM rear end .

With a CNC Mill, its a piece of cake!

I have been around Work , Little travelin, And a bass boat.

So like a DA i purchased a finned cover for my S10 rearend and OH crap she no fittie.
could not send it back so here is my solution.18.00 and 2 hours.
cover first.JPGI had an endmill i used to move the 4 holes in the cover it wont clog like a burr will. I used an old gasket to move the holes at 1-5-7-11. They had to be moved diag tward the center about 1/8
.cover 5.JPG The other non used holes i just somply ran a 3/8 tap through them
cover 3.JPG I cut the 3/8 Fo bolts off a 1.700
cover 2.JPG This is the Fo accorn nut installed to simulate a fastener from the out side
cover 4.JPG Now you can see at 1-5-7-11 i have replaced the 5/16 bolt with a stud and a nut 1.900 long
cover last.JPG Right over the existing cover and it didnt cost 250.00 The 4- 5/16 accorn nuts are not even noticable with the 3/8

PS i payed 85.00 bucks on HE BAY for this cover with free shipping.
Positive i fed a chinese family for the whole month with this purchased!!!!
