Very interesting, I wonder how you could keep the alignment in? The axle has to pivot (twist) as the springs deflect. They basically lengthen the lower link. It's likely not a lot, but it doesn't take much. Cool looking.

Kinda' like this setup....Here's another one with torsion bars running down the frame rails. From what I can find it was built by Tom Booth and called "Torsion T".
