    GPS Speedo

That is what I use for a speedo, a small GPS unit mounted on the side of the windshield. Dash has five gauges and there is no room for a traditional speedo. Works fine for me :)

Radir spindle mounts with Econoline spindles

Bought the wheels and I am working on this issue right now. Radir has the correct bearings for the front and rear. 1.250 rear .750 front. I have not taken them to the machine shop yet, but by my measurements the front race has to be about 1/2" further into the wheel and everything will fit...

    68 302 & 85 5.o 302

The tunnel ram and distributor will bolt on. I am not positive on the 85 LTD motor, but it may be a hydraulic roller motor. 85 Mustang 5.0L were roller motors. Not sure on the LTD. I am assuming you are changing the cam and lifters anyways so there should be no issues there. Please be aware that...

Engine Running Hot on One Side

Seems quite obvious that the changes done to the engine caused the problem. Try to go back to the old tune. Lean carbs will overheat the engine and can cause serious pinging, detonation, increased cylinder temperatures and some nice holes in the pistons. It is possible that the mixture is quite...

    The Members' Map Is Ready

I am the only one in Florida. It feels lonely down here :sob: Come on, where are the Florida buckets hiding? :)

    another update

#8 Stainless steel braided hose. A good option is the 3/8 or 1/2 aluminum fuel line that Summit, Jegs, Speedway and everyone else has in 20 foot rolls. It is pretty cheap too

Mileage went from 20 to 10 with new motor...why?

10 MPG is about right for a blown small block. I have an 8-71 blown 351 Cleveland, 4 speed toploader. 10 MPG is normal for me. 12.5 MPG is the best I have gotten out of it.

    Hypereutectic or Forged Pistons

Not to go against the current, but for what you are doing Hypereutectic pistons will be fine. Now having said that I would also use the forged pistons, just because at some point or another you may decide to add nitrous or a small blower and then the Hypereutectic just won't do. If you are 100%...

    Lug Nut Studs

Spot welding them will do the trick.

Which steering box do you like

These cars are never going to be canyon carvers, they may go fast in a straight line, but that's it. As far as I am concerned the way these cars get driven, and the fact that half of them have tiny front tires, to me makes the bump steer question, and the handling questions almost a non issue...

    popping

Check the header gaskets for leaks and your exhaust for leaks. If air is entering your exhaust you will get popping out the back.

    Roller Lifters for the Street

I would go with the solid if you really do not mind adjusting the valves. My reasoning is that you get rid of the lifter pump up and or lifter collapse at high RPM, which are both common with hydraulic rollers, lighter weight, and a solid roller of the same .050 duration always makes more power...
