"Black Dahlia"

After Jim's story I'll add them to my good guy list of suppliers. I was going to order the same arms and modify them to fit my Chevy spindles like Chopinczech did.

I called them today and got some good info. Unfortunately, their price is just not worth swapping out what I have. My main reason for swapping them out was mainly cosmetics and at $140, I'll let the arms I have grow on me. But in the future, they'll get my business. The person I spoke to went and got a pair to answer a measurement question I had. For sure, a top notch out fit.

I'll be getting in touch with Ron, to order my upper steering arm and a tie rod. In order for the tie rod to clear my wishbones, I'll need to use a 1.5" spacer between he arm and tie rod end. It'll still be clear of the scrub line.

What kind of a spacer you going to need?

Ron, I'll need two. 1.5" with 5/8" inside diameter. I'll leave wall thickness up to you, but a standard width will do the job. I also need a tie rod. 45" and please use the same size tubing as your rear radius rods with rod ends, 11/16" shanks and a 5/8" hole. I'll call you tomorrow to pull the trigger on this. Thanks!

Ron, I'm winging this and would like to have 2 options. Make one pair 1.5" with a 5/8" inside diameter and another pair 1.250" with a 5/8" inside diameter. I'll call you. Thanks.

After a slight delay on UPS's part, Ron's parts arrived Monday! I have to drill out the steering arms and take everything apart for paint. Pic forth coming!

Hey, guys. I just got home after 10 days in the hospital. I'll post progress when my strength is up.

It was. Then I threw my back out. I'll be okay. Old age is creeping in, but I'm trying to fight it off. I'm losing. LOL I'll be okay, but car stuff is on hold for a while.
