pics from my build

Easy there Fred, don't want to put too much pressure on LM to "produce".

I don't think checking in 6 days since his last post is a problem. I mean, it's not like I'm not paying attention or telling him how to build his car. Right?

Only had a few hours before having to leave again. I wanted some louvers. Since this car is a dirt tack themed car, nothing will be show quality. Not that it would be with me as the builder anyway... :) Don't have a louver press but I was walking around Home Depot one day and found these where they sell washing machines Only 1.98 for a set of three.

Might be wrong, might be right. I was told that the two-barrels back in the day had no problem with air flow ratings but rather had problems supplying fuel to keep up with those ratings. Extra carbs were able to supply the fuel that was needed rather than extra CFM.

Si o no ?

I have six on a 409, but 99% of the time I am only running on 2.

Tuning and jetting will be the keys. Also, how will the linkage work? Progressive?

I don't know, haven't got that far yet..... will figure it out when the time comes... If I figure something out and it doesn't work, I'll work on it till it does...

No idea.... if it works, party time, if not, more work time.
It's all good.

Do you plan on building the upper intake with a plenum?

I don't know yet, just got home from 8 days on the road was planning on trying to get the rear end mounted next. I will get to the engine stuff when I can roll the car around. Probably will be looking at what others have done to get some ideas..

That will make a difference in carb selection.
