Mykk's BMW V8 T-bucket, version 1.5:

Yes,I had a 'wing' from a late model car and had to set it on the bed "just to see".
That lasted about 2 minutes for me.
I agree that open wheel, engine and suspension out in the air, vertical radiator and windshield, but with an aero device looks like bolt-on for the sake of having more stuff. There was that one T that had a wing that looked fantastic, though.

Getting this differential together really has been by the skin of my teeth. The rear facing wilwoods really is such a major aesthetic for the rear end, especially with the differential out in the open hanging off a perch. It's been a pain getting this oversized wilwoods to fit.

However, the low profile finned aluminum diff cover has been clearanced for the calipers. It is Right Stuffed & bolt onto the diff.

I do wish I had some more slide clearance on the left caliper between the banjo bolt and fin. I do fear if I grind any more away I'll grind a hole into the cover. Which wouldn't be an issue if I had a TIG, granted TIG on cast can be a chasing game.

The right side is ok:
