I don't think checking in 6 days since his last post is a problem. I mean, it's not like I'm not paying attention or telling him how to build his car. Right?

Probably not enough carb for 300 inches......

Tuning and jetting will be the keys. Also, how will the linkage work? Progressive?
Might be wrong, might be right. I was told that the two-barrels back in the day had no problem with air flow ratings but rather had problems supplying fuel to keep up with those ratings. Extra carbs were able to supply the fuel that was needed rather than extra CFM.

Do you plan on building the upper intake with a plenum?
That will make a difference in carb selection.I don't know yet, just got home from 8 days on the road was planning on trying to get the rear end mounted next. I will get to the engine stuff when I can roll the car around. Probably will be looking at what others have done to get some ideas..
