Super Tight Disc Brakes

Being I can't crawl around on the ground anymore, I had a shop replace my master cylinder. I used to push my bucket out of the garage before starting but now I can barely move it. I jacked up the front end and it really takes some effort to turn the wheels now. Car has Wilwood discs. Anyone have ideas what the issue may be after replacing the master cylinder? I don't want to take it back to that shop.

When your brake pedal is at rest, there needs to be a few thousandths of a inch clearance between the pedal push rod and the master cylinder piston, allowing the piston to return to full rest. I'm going to guess that your push rod is applying pressure to the piston even when the pedal is in the full upright position.

Hey gwilli, has this problem been resolved? When I first began to drive my 'bucket I had a similar problem that I traced to my brake pedal not fully returning. The hole in my floorboard was a little too small, and it was dragging. A little work with a jigsaw and presto-zippo . . . no more brake drag.
