Your roller, do you just back off on the top tube to remove your piece? What did you use for bearings in the tubes? What size are the tubes?

Your break press, are you using angle iron for the dies? Is the top die interchangable? Are you using an air nozzle for a valve?

Awesome work. Looks like I found a couple more projects for this summer.

Ron

Ron... These two machine's are used everyday now.... I didn't realize how much they where needed... Not sure how I built cars without them... They are a plus in my shop.... I want to build the press break bigger and better... Not that anything is wrong... Just somethings I want to do different..

Well been busy on the t-bucket for now... Getting it all mocked up...Here's a few shot's..

Most guys would be delighted to be making this great a progress on their project but you are making FANTASTIC progress on TWO at the same time. I think that you should change your name to SUPERMAN!

Mr Jim... that right there is funny..LOL.. What's even better then that,,, Is yall don't get to see the ones in between these two everyday... Had one yesterday, And one will be coming here next week also...So it never stop's here... I have not been able to do anything on my car lately... But that will change..

Great progress in a short time. You obviously see a picture that starts with perfection and stick with it.

I think I would have moved the complete rear end back about 6 to 8 inches, may have fit the longer bed better... But, that is just me... Lookin good. :) Note; If I back into something, I would rather hit the tires than the bed...

From the side it is dead on... If he back's into something with a t-bucket,, He needs his butt kicked..LOL

Been super busy..
Here's a shot of how the t-bucket is coming together...

Looks like fun there is one thing I see might be old eyes but in the pic from the front it looks like a little to much positive camber.

Yes it does have positive camber... But it is also a polished stainless steel drop axle, And as far as I know, You would have to bend the axle to take out camber... It's a fixed axle... I have the caster set at about 6.5 * ... I usally set all my axles at around 5*...Now if you know of a way to fix this without bending the axle...(that's how they use to do it) I would love to know how...On a lot of the older cars (30's model) They had a little more camber from the factory...

Now on this car, It really couldn't drive any better then it does.. So I'm open to learn something new...
