Welcome back, Fred. We're all happy to see you posting again because you make it very interesting and enjoyable.

Well, I'm back.

The cast came off March 28. But somehow, my hand had become infected. Plus, I hadn't had an appetite and wasn't eating properly. I lost 20 pounds! I went to see the doctor and he tossed me back in the hospital for a week! When I got out, my internet was shut off, so I had to get a pay check under my belt to pay it and a bunch of other bills. Whew.....

Once I catch up with my bills, I'll get back to building. I need a few fittings, then I'll run the brake lines. It's great to be back. I really missed you guys.
Ok, you got your bad luck out of the way. Smooth sailing ahead!

Well, got up early this morning and ran brake lines from M/C to the front and rear. That Nicopp brake line is the TITS! First I did some measuring and left a few inches extra, in case my flaring skills weren't up to the task. The Nicopp line flared like butter!

So, I installed the tube nuts to the rear line, bent it where needed, installed the line clamps and installed it. I then did the same to the front line, but I need a "T" fitting for the front cross line, so I'll wait for it and the rear flex line before trimming and flaring the front line.

Pics upon completion.

Progress is good.

Sorry for the tease. Here's some pics of what I have so far.

I ran this section over the motor mount because of a protrusion below the mount. I may change this later.

The sections coming off the M/C could have been a little better, but I didn't have a tube bender.

Ordered the "T" fitting to tie the front brake lines together and the flex line with a "T" fitting to tie the rear brake lines together. Should get here Saturday. So, I'll be eating Ramon noodles the rest of the week! This addiction is strong!:)

The parts aren't getting any cheaper either.

Tracking info says the parts won't get here until Monday.:(

Hey Fred, How do you fix leaks on your nicopp lines at the fittings?

Since we are talking about lines and fittings, I recently acquired a new tool that makes inverted flairs, etc. it's from Mastercool, it's a hydraulic flair tool with dies to create numerous tubing connections. It will make quick disconnects for fuel and transmission lines, etc. It's not cheap, but works well. I had to replace fuel lines on my truck, the disconnects was what prompted the purchase, well that, and a new tool! It truely makes very nice connections.

Bored.:(
