"Black Dahlia"

Pretty neat washer. Mine are just flat, but never make contact with the little movement they in-counter. May have to change them out, just cause those look cool.

Fred did the spacers work for you, or did you need to cut them down?

Ron, I about busted a gut. I went to install the short ones and they were too long! So, I cut one in half and it's a perfect fit.

Ron's parts are made to give a bit of freedom to even a minor fabricator. Plus, his stuff is MADE IN THE USA. So, the next time you think about going some where else, call Ron. It's worth it.
We are lucky to have Ron at RPM. He will modify or make about anything and he doesn't charge an arm or leg. Give him a chance before you go out in the dark...

Where do you get those washers?

From Ron. I wasn't sure about the length I'd need and laying on the floor and using a tape measure got me close. So, I went with 2 measurements. Ron sent me a set of both. Once I started putting everything in place, I realized my measurements were way off. So, I took one of the shortest and cut it in half. Once installed, I checked for clearance and movement from stop to stop. Results, perfect.

Here's a little road music.

Well, it's a new year and while I'm not at roller stage as planned, I'm confident she'll be there VERY soon. Over the holidays, I painted the tie rod and upper steering arm. I'll post pics when I get some good day light. My land lord moved some shop cars around, so my chassis is a little hidden.

Well, I set up a light.... hope these look okay. I'm glad I had the fore thought to get some 90 degree grease fittings.

No new updates. :(

Things are at a stand still. That time I missed work and a shorter work schedule are killing me. I'm catching up on some bills and riding it out. Next purchase will be rear shocks, but I have no idea when that will happen. So, stay tuned.

Good to hear from you, Fred. Keep the dream alive!

Thanks! I'm not going anywhere. I'm just in a dry spot. It happens. Of course, when I can't move forward with progress, I'm researching my next steps. Such as brake lines. I plan on using Nicopp lines, so I've been looking at what's available. Lemonade from lemons.:)

Life happens! Sometimes "on hold" allows perspective, better design, regained energy. My rebuild is taking infinitely longer than I planned. There are other more pressing issues that require my time more often than I prefer.
