I have a new CCR 14" frame and setting tape and was thinking of Lexan instead of glass. Right now I'm using the CCR 11" frame and it is a bit too low for my giant head.If you are running a full frame around it, it will be ok. You could get a piece of 1/4 aluminum channel from a hardware store, such as ACE, and frame the top and bottom. Black RTV would hold it in place. I put a top frame on my glass windshield, just because I felt safer after seeing how much it bowed at speed. Lexan will bow also, but never break.

The seller is tooltymegirl. I bought it 1/4" thick.Cmcdanl, which seller on eBay did you use? What thickness?
Anyone, does 1/4" seem enough? I was thinking of 3/8".
This sounds like a good idea. Might even look ok too. I'll give it a shot and see.If you are running a full frame around it, it will be ok. I thought about that too. I bet it would look pretty cool. I decided against it for now, but who knows I may change my mind down the line.Hey, I see gray tinted MR10 on eBay too. That might look very cool. Not sure about legality, but I'm a rebel who never ever does what he should (group and year?).
Thanks! And yeah, that's not just the pictures. Once I peeled the protective plastic off I realized it's almost invisible! I bet once it's in the sunlight, and the car is painted, it will be more noticeable. That looks real nice. You can barely see it at a glance. Nice work!

Nice job. TV on one wall, stools on the other. Where is the cooler for refreshments? Keep the pics coming.
