    Tunnel ram questions

I have setup a few over the years, and made only one carb work, they both looked like they worked, but no fuel in, and a block off plate under the carb, made it all look right without all the problems of two 4 barrel carbs. Also took the bottom butterflies out, so that the linkage could still...

    Windshield Post

I want to mention that this is a GREAT idea, making the door wider, just that the stud part of the latch (bear claw type?) sticking out where it is, catches cloths real easy... I think the stud needs to be in the door and the latch in the body to stop that problem...

    New Project in Madison, WI

I like a Man that does it himself, buying everything sometimes leaves a lot to be desired on your own special build, so, do the posts yourself and that way you get just the right angle that you want :) Looking good so far, nice shop... :)

    Rear Tires

John... BFGoodies :) 33 inches tall, best tires I have ever run on a Bucket, as far as smooth and even great traction, plus they are great in the rain... They seem to grip like glue...

    Rear Tires

I love my 10" tread width rears in the rain... they are on 15" rims, to give that wider look...

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, and let's pray for a better New Year. :)

    Front suspension about done :)

Square tubing is a lot stronger than round, just the look is different for a T Bucket, I know, because I also use a square tube in my rear radius rods, because I had problems bending the round ones that I had... I needed a larger OD tube, but a fellow back east, wanted to make all his own, with...

    3" tube frame

If this car has been out in a field for 25 years??? what is there that is still good enough for you to want to buy it??? and/or does it have plates and reg. already? If it had plates back then, maybe, as that can be updated pretty easy, and that can be a hard part on a new build these days...

    Mounting master w/under car exhaust?

Just think about all the early Iron, they all ran the master cyls under the floor... (without all the extra monkey motion)

    AXLE WARNING

I use either a stock Ford axle 48"-50" boss to boss (dropped forged) or a Chevy pickup I beam to get the longer, 54" boss to boss length, so that you can run a longer spring for a much better ride and stability, plus, you now can find bolt-on brakes and wheels that you may like better... (when...

    Front crossmember questions

Lots of good answers here... The two main differences between the 1 1/2X3"x 1/8" (= .120) wall over the 3/16 wall 2"x3" is the fact that the smaller size id 'Decorative' tubing, and it has tight corners,,, the 2"x3" x 3/16" is a Structural size, and the corners are larger and a bit more...

    Missing axle code

Like was said, try a small set of tires off another, even stock car, but smaller in OD, that will lower the gear quite a bit, then just drive normal, not like a racer and see if the problem goes away, but I kinda doubt it, but I have been wrong on engine problems before, I build chassis to stick...

    Missing axle code

Yes T Rams are a piece of work alright, and they sweat a lot and that makes a mess on the windshield, etc. But, they look purty... I had a customer that ran one, we totally blocked off the front carb, (could not tell by looking at it) made a special small tube runner setup, that was all hidden...

    Missing axle code

WHY??? Do you want your RPM up, in this Day of HIGH gas prices??? A T bucket will pull a very high gear with no problem, I run a 276 final gear ratio, and I could go higher...

    Engine Tilt

I think most of the guys would want to see a side view of the car in question, many have their engines sitting level with the ground, as it takes a longer wheel base to keep it level with the frame, when sitting on a rake... Low in front... Spacers can be used under the trans mount, and the...
